Ever feel like your reputation is on the line every time you publish a piece of content? Or send it to the client? Or even a colleague?
Ever get to the end of a piece and think there’s probably 2001 ways somebody could do it better?
Truth is, a lot of copywriters feel that way.
Best way to climb over the fear is to get a second opinion from an ally – someone who gets it.
That’s why, on certain Fridays, Paul and I welcome all Content Cavern members to send in their latest piece.
We choose one per week (at random), edit it over the weekend together, and send it back on the Monday morning.
If you want us to take a look at your writing, join using our form and reply to our next Friday Feedback email.
There’s no catch. This is just our way of helping the Unofficial Writer’s Guild of Planet Earth. And the idea started with a lady named Gill Andrews:
“In one of my posts on Google Plus, I complained about having troubles with a blog post I was writing. Next thing I knew, Rob offered me to have a look at my piece and to give me his honest feedback. On his own time. For free.
I sent him my piece, and a week later I received a document full of detailed comments. One of the most helpful feedback rounds I could wish for.”
~ Gill Andrews, blogger at TrueStorieswithGill.com
Plus, we get to build our email list at the same time (win-win).
We can’t look at more than one piece per week – so don’t be pissed off if yours isn’t chosen. We’re family men … and any more than a couple of hours editing just ain’t possible for us.
Up for it? Enter your email and hit the red ‘JOIN NOW’ button to get involved on the next round.
